Felt Color Flashcards is a great educational toy for your toddler to explore colors. When your toddler starts to show an interest in colors you can use felt color flashcards for comparing, sorting, and matching activities.

You can use these Felt Color Flashcards in many different ways:

  • you can practice a language when showing cards with colors,
  • you can play a game: Point the (blue).
  • you can use flashcards to put other objects with the same colors on the cards (Duplos, pom-poms, buttons, ribbons, stoppers, color pencils, cars, etc.)
  • you can play a game: What color is (a banana)? and toddlers should pick up the right card,
  • you can make two completes and make a matching game,
  • etc.

If you are curious, I wrote a blog post about how toddlers learn colors.

If you want to use a no-sew method for these Felt Color Flashcards, I kindly suggest reading an article about gluing before you start. If you will make sewn cards, make sure you know how to sew felt correct.

With this Felt Color Flashcards Game, your toddler will get to know 11 colors: white, yellow, orange, red, pink, violet (or is it purple?), green, blue, brown, black, and gray.
