This Biniboo Quiet Book Horse activity page is great for encouraging imagination, understanding daily routine to brush hair, and fine motor skills.
If you just started planning your quiet book, I suggest you read the Essential Guide to quiet books, where you can read about the process of making a quiet book. You will understand the correlation between page preparations and busy book bindings.
I kindly suggest reading an article on how to sew felt in quiet books correctly.
QUIET BOOK HORSE
If you haven’t already, first, create a fabric page base. Before you start sewing, make sure you’re familiar with how to sew stiff felt for quiet books. Download and print the FREE PDF Horse Quiet Book Pattern for this activity and cut out all the shapes. You can find the pattern at the bottom of the page.
Put the paper pieces on a stiff felt, transcribe them, and then cut them out from felt. If you don’t want to waste hours searching for all the materials you need and transcribing and cutting the felt, check my DIY store where you can buy a pre-cut DIY kit for this activity page.

Cut the wool cords to approximately 30 cm (11 ¾ in) of length. Take three of them (in different colors) away.
Take the wool strips, fold them on half and put it under the white felt.
The three wool strips, fold them on quarters. Cut the wool loops to get “hair”.
Put this short wool “hair” under the white felt as shown in the picture.
Sew around the white felt. Be mindful to sew all the wool “hair”. After finishing sewing, pull them out to see if they are fixed correctly.
You can draw the horse’s eye with the permanent pen or embroidery it.
You finished the Biniboo Quiet Book Horse activity page. Congrats!
